Very nice Rita I like scrappy quilts too. Noticed the Irish Chain on the Quiltville web site another nice scrappy quilt.

Teresa, lucky you, partly for the lovely quilt, but mostly for the beautiful children!

Just thought I would share this quilt. I didn't make it but won it in a raffle. My kids are trying to decide who gets it but I hate to tell them that Mommy is keeping it. I think I will hang it in the living room since it already has a hanging sleeve on it. The raffle was to raise funds to help pay medical expenses for a little 2 year old with cancer, he is just the cutest thing (if you are on facebook you can check out Cannonballing Cancer and see him).

What a treat, haven't been online for a few days, and the first picture I saw was your quilt, Rita. It's just beautiful, and I agree with Geneva, it looks so inviting to just wrap up with it and a good book. Nice!

Rita, Your quilt looks so comfy that I just want to curl up and read a book wrapped up in it. Well, maybe in a couple months! It will hold a lot of memories for you.
I only like raw broccoli, does that work?

Happy weekend! yay!

Fabulous quilt, Rita. I love scrappy... Maybe it's because I'm just so into all of this, that, and everything else, and therefore quite scrappy myself :)

Congratulations !!!

Brilliant quilt, Rita. I keep meaning to get a leaders & enders project cut and ready to go, but haven't managed it yet
By the way, you don't have to have sashing strips down between the edges of a quilt as you go quilt if you don't want to. The first 2 quilts I made were quilt as you go quilts and I totally omited the sashing strips, and they still worked. the photo of my first 2 quilts is here see-quilts/quilt-gallery/
