Okay, I just finished something...
I made mother/daughter carry-on bags for my DSIL and my niece when they travel. My sister-in-law's bag is ultra-suede and my niece's is brushed cotton. They're identical so I'm showing you the front on one and the back on the other. My father-in-law owned a popular Chinese restaurant in NYC near Broadway back in the 1950s frequented by the artistic/stage community of the day (was good enough to be reviewed by Craig Claiborne back then). My DSIL only had a few requests: a logo with the restaurant's name, specific dimensions for the bag, inner pockets so she wouldn't have to dig for cell phone and other things, not-too-long handles, zipper and waterproof lining. Sounds like a lot but it really isn't... except for I had to learn how to do everything including putting in a zipper which I'd never done. So glad it's over, I hope they like them. I have to admit, I learned a lot. Sorry I could not get the lining picture any better than it is. I guess I should brush the markings off the bags before I mail them...
