Lovely quilt, Lorchen!! Eva will love it!! And probably won't mind sharing it with Guinness, either

Limbania, my mother doesn't sew and neither did my grandmothers. My MIL made a couple of small quilts -- mostly for our dog to lay on -- which I now treasure, but I hadn't become a quilter before she died. I know what you mean about feeling like you missed something, but it's good to be the start of something, too. Having quilter friends helps!

My mother and ex-MIL didn't understand why I felt the need to play with fabric either. They kept telling me that I should concentrate on keeping the house and my sons spotless. You just can't win them all.
