God comment Lois. Made me think of the old Calvin & Hobbes comic, when Calvin is imagining himself to be one-dimensional. No, flapping about, and rolling myself up in order to move about is certainly not my thing... Way too little control. On the other hand, the flats seem to be getting about, experiencing all kinds of things and meeting lots of great new friends. And all without the three dimensional Rita having to experience the tediousness of travel... Of course she/we also only get to have flat Rita's experiences second hand... But I'm certainly enjoying them ;)

"A Flat Nancy. Hmmm. Might be interesting"

"We all have our fantasies... And some flat versions of ourselves get to live their dreams ... What lucky folk!"

Some of us dream of being "flat", yet it might be a detriment to her carreer would the most celebrated flat one amongst us find herself truely in that state.... Okay, everybody can moan now!

I like the sound of that too... Yeah, I'm in Europe and can at least join this retreat... The us ones are just a little bit far away for me. ;)

Aw Nancy you take me to all the best places. That landscape looks so beautiful. My DH laughed out loud when I showed the photos to him. :D What a nice looking group of people. Looks like we had a great time.

Hi all -

While Geneva was lucky enough to spend time with 3D Rita (and Rita was lucky enough to spend time with Geneva), I had to content myself with Flat Rita as a companion at our local guild's quilt retreat over the weekend a week ago. (Sorry it's taken me so long to share with you...)

It was a beautiful fall weekend with the Aspens at the height of their colors. Rita and I stopped to take a picture along the way:

Once there, Rita and I set up our tables so that we could chat and sew:

Finally, here is a picture of the entire group, including Flat Rita on the far right:

I'll try to get a blog post put together with more pictures soon, but it might be a couple of days yet.
