It is a bit of a wait, but I would recommend waiting until one of the big shows (FoQ perhaps?) and then go and talk to the people on the Janome machine stand to see what they suggest, you could even take your own rats tails with you (or buy some there ) Otherwise,do you have a local dealer you could talk to? I'm sure they would love to sell you something, again take samples with you to see if it fits the bill.

Can anyone recomend a sewing machine foot similar to the foot that Carol Ann Waugh uses in her Stupendous Stitching, namely to go over the rats tail piping that she uses.
I have a Janome 6600 so it would have to be compatable, also to buy in the UK.
The piping feet I have seen on line don't seem to have room for the zigzag HELP!!
