Hooray! I have just been looking through Sarah Vedeler's blogs and found that she has a bunch of hints on Bernina V6 software that answers many of my questions. I just updated my software a couple of weeks ago and have been trying to accomplish a number of things that aren't particularly intuitive. I haven't even read all of them, but Sarah has some wonderful things related to getting the software to do some interesting things, complete with step by step instructions and pictures of sample results. This is wonderful. Thanks Sarah, if you are reading this! Just what I needed. Of course, it would be even more wonderful if you would come to Ashburn Virginia and spend a day with me in my humble small studio teaching me just how to accomplish what I want to do.   Have you got a book?

I've been trying to make a clipper ship applique with complex embroidery for a quilt idea I have had...almost there, but not quite. And then there are the flying hawks I want to do the same thing with--had some weird things happen, but I figure it's user error. Anybody else out there try anything like this?
