Dorothy, how do you wash your quilts? I'm thinking of using a wool batting in a bed quilt
for my sister, but worried about causing problems for her when it came time to clean it.

Hanna only use the cool setting on your dryer for 10 minuets, then lay out on a flat surface. hope this works for you. Hobbs Tuscany is very even and smooth and I have never had a problem with lumps. Dorothy UK

I use wool batting most of the time for my quilts, and this is what I do i take it out of the packet and lay over the spare bed over night and if still creased in the morning I pop it in the tumble dryer on cool for about ten minuets and it's usually OK . Dorothy UK
ps: I use Hobbs Tuscany Wool

I want to use woolbatting in some of my quilts, but how do I get the wrinkles out of it...or any kind of batting? I have tried to gently iron/steam it, just pressing on the batting but with little success: HELP and good advices needed!
