Oh Cindy, it's just great!....even more beautiful than you described when you were ordering the cabinets. I LOVE all the colored drawers. I know you're having a blast. Thank you so much for sharing.

Thanks, Margo. It took me a year to wash, press, and fold all those fabrics so I could stack 'em in there! Of course, I've added quite a few since. ;)

I have 16 48-inch full-spectrum fluorescent tubes on my ceiling. I'm a worshipper of light.

Oh, Cindy, your new studio is breathtaking!

Did you have to insulate the garage, or was it already insulated? It looks very comfortable and well organized.

Might inquiring minds inquire as to what sort of money was involved in that magical transition? I admit to paying $9,000 for my custom wall cabinet with its 80-inch-square design wall on the sliding doors (pictured in my profile), and that was in a room that was already finished and set up for quilting!

One of these days I will convince my dh that it is in his best interest to clean out our back building, put on a new roof, hook up the gas heat and electric (already run/installed but not currently connected), and let me have it for a quilt studio, lol.

Cindy,
Fabulous is all I can say. You have thought of everything. My DH just looked at the pictures, laughed & said lucky lady. Once again I floated the idea of removing the wall between my sewing room & his office but he didn't bite. Enjoy your new wonderful space. :D
