Oh Brenda I'm so sorry. Wishing strength to your SIL , BIL and those around them including you. You're braver than me teaching your son to drive, you must be frazzled.

Wow Brenda, when it rains it pours! I'll keep your sister in law and her family in my prayers and also you and your husband. There's not much of a bigger distraction from these horrible troubles than riding around with a student driver! Is that a bright spot in the clouds?

Dear Brenda, you are all in my prayers. Remember to be kind to yourself and tell your DH to do the same, it's easy to overlook yourself when caring for others or when family members are ill. I'm thinking and praying for you all.
Warm wishes Pam (In Scotland)

Branda, so sorry to hear about your SIL and BIL! I pray your husband is able to keep up with their needs! Thank heavens for family! As to the driving issues, like Lorra, I am so glad those days are behind me! It can be trying! Good luck, and I will keep your family in my prayers!

Brenda, I am praying for your SIL, BIL, and your DH that he can handle all he needs to. Tell him we are praying for him.
I am also praying for you that you can take care of things at home. And have the patience to teach your son to drive . I will admit that I am happy that phase of my life is over. Each time you have to go out with him I suggest you reward yourself with some quiet sewing time. Hugs.

Please keep my DH and his sister in your prayers. My SIL has been fighting stage 4 lung cancer for over 1 1/2 years and is not doing well. Her husband fell and broke two bones in his foot that required surgery to fix and is still not allowed to bear any weight on it, plus he has had some rapidly developing dementia. My DH has been in Tennessee taking care of them for most of the past month. He was able to come home for 3 days, but returned yesterday to continue caring for them and trying to figure out the best long-term plan for them. That has left me here taking care of life as it happens. I have not yet been overwhelmed, but now I'm also trying to teach my son to drive so the stress level has increased just a tad! Life has a way of letting you know you are human and need to depend on a much Higher Power. Thanks for keeping us in your prayers.

I want to thank every one who has sent me condolences and private emails. I send hugs to you all.
It's sunny here today and a friend said when the sun shines he's happy.

Frances, I am sending love and sympathy on the loss of your Mom.
Having lost my husband recently I know something of what you are going through. My daughter is finding it very difficult at the loss of her beloved Dad who she called Pop's or popsickle.
My best wishes to you and your family.
Anne
Frances, My deepest sympathies to you and your family on your Mom's passing. She was quite a lady, I always enjoyed seeing Margarita and Joe in Houston, and I always looked forward to her blogging about her current quilt. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers, Pat
