Please say a prayer for my cousin Brian in intensive care. He had two heart attacks and two strokes and is on life support.
They were going to turn off life support when he started to respond to stimuli, his wife and two sons rushed to the hospital, his wife said to him ..can you see me? and he nodded and squeezed her hand. Of course it is early days and they are taking one day at a time or even one hour at a time but he seems to know she is there.
A miracle?? we hope so and pray for him to return to his family.

Thanks for all your prayers, I really do feel them. I'm sorry if I alarmed you all.

However, I was very much alarmed myself. Everything hit me like a ton of bricks. I have a little more information now, after a visit to the doctor yesterday, and now understand that this surgery will change my life in many ways, but; originally, I understood this surgery/procedure to be palliative. Apparently it is not, so I thank God for that! However, I still would appreciate your prayers because I will still have a lot to go through.

Acceptance is going to be difficult, but with the Lord's help I will hopefully learn to surf this one. The surgery will mean a new lifestyle, but I think I'll still be able to quilt! Your support is very encouraging.
