Patti, if you are over tired and stressed out, your brain tends to short circuit your memory. (Take it from someone who has had fibromyalgia since her teens) Plenty of rest and some form of meditation/relaxation is best. I recommend yoga (they even have it for seniors with very limited mobility, so no excuses
). try different classes until you find the teacher and and style you are comfortable with.
And, yes not taking your diabetes meds will do that to you. I have a co-worker who does not take care of herself and her diabetes properly, and you can chart the decline in her brain function. It is awful! Lovely woman, but mentally definitely not what she used to be. (You can tell the days when she has eaten properly. She's way more on the ball!)
Take care of yourself and all should level off.
