Thank you guys for all the prayers. Surgery was a little dicey, but went well after a rough first hour. Recovery has gone smoothly and we came home today! I felt very comfortable wrapped in all your prayers. Now we will see how well I survive the next 6 weeks with him recovering!!

My 17 yr old son is having open heart surgery tomorrow morning. We have known about it for some time, but now it is really happening and I am trying not to freak too badly. Would you all keep us in your prayers tomorrow and for the next few days. The surgeon thinks he will be in the hospital for about 5 days. I will let you all know how things go when I get a chance to get back to the computer.

Margarita, just hearing about how positive Dalton is during this tragic period in his life is wonderful. He is a fine example of what positive thinking can do for each of us when our burdens get too heavy. Am saying prayers for him, Emily, you, and everyone in your family.

Still saying prayers for everyone here with prayer requests too.

Blessings,
Shirley
