I'm one of those folks that unfortunately cannot successfully view the shows in the new format. Why do I have to wait several days after the current show becomes available to be able to view it in the old format?

Well, so it does  I'll bet it was explained somewhere, and I fell asleep in class that day.

I didn't see a reply to this. What happened to the chapters or sections menu? I usually don't have time to watch the entire show. I could, and do, jot down the timer where I leave off, but on my desk, it's not always easy to find the note!!! However, it was so nice to select the chapter where I left off, or the part I want to review.

New Screen format 13 Mar 2010 03:53 #44225

Hi Everyone,
What has happened? I went away for 6 weeks to visit my daughter in New Zealand and when I came back everything had changed. I cannot always watch a whole program but now I cannot find how to re-run and start watching where I left off. Also I found that the quality of the picture was for want of a better word - bad. It made me queasy to look at it. I can blame some of it on my age and the fact that I am no tecky but maybe someone can help.

The buffering circle has more to do with the download speed from your server... I have that problem all the time during the day during heavy USAGE... Hughes Net is all I can get where I live. That is why on weekends I get up at 5-6 am to watch videos ... sew a little then take a long nap in the afternoon...

OFF TOPIC... REGARDLESS...
If your server only gives you a slow connection you get the never ending buffering circle.

I am finding a lot of show are going to bigger / better formats that require more band width... Keep checking back.

I can not do that during the week.

I was able to watch hgtv videos about a year ago but they seem to be unavailable now. All I get is the buffering circle that never ends. I did write an email to them to enquire if they were blocked to the UK but never got reply. A great pity as the Simply Quilts show was very informative.

Amo... this one worked...

YOU HAVE TO WATCH THE COMMERCIALS BEFORE IT WILL LOAD UP THE CLIPS YOU WANT TO SEE... THEY ARE SHORT BUT PRETTY GOOD.

6 to 8 minutes long ... the show has been divided into small sections.....

Let it buffer for a while then the show comes on... another place to view when I have insomnia at 2am YEAH

The girls are saying you can watch SIMPLY QUILTS HERE...

I have bandwidth restrictions so I have to wait until tomorrow 2am to see if it works or not....

Hope you have some luck...looks like an older format... watch out for the commercials...

LR, most other sites I watch a video in I do exactly that but it doesn't seem to work for me in this on. Even if I leave it running and go away then go back to the beginning it still coughs and splutters.

BUT...

I am hitting my throttle. It just so coincides with the TQS launch of their new player which is very very download hungry and has pushed it over the limit. I am on a rolling threshold and also, like you, if I watch between 12 and 6am I have twice as much usage.

They are putting up a new satellite in the next few months which will double my monthly quota. I can't wait.

I can still watch F&P, Simply Quilts, Justhands on and Design Matters all ok because their download isn't as hungry.

I will carry on struggling for the minute and sit along way from the screen to preserve my santiy!

Have had a problem with the video feed. I get part way through the show and the audio continues but the video locks up. I did not have any problems with the previous viewer.
I also do not like the fast forward in this viewer or the lack of chapters when I want to go back and review an earlier show.
I do like the new size and the picture quality is better (when it is working)
