What a fun show. Probably not something I'll find the time to do, but I enjoyed learning about it, and loved the humor and the music.

Excuses, excuses, Pat! If they can fast fuse in one show, whilst singing, you can do it. I've had Laura's book for a while, but not really done anything with it yet, except drool over the projects. I saw one of her quilts here in the UK, when it was part of the yearly Husqvarna competition. I was mega-impressed, and went back a couple of times during the quilt show to have another look at it.
I work full-time with teenagers who have severe behaviour problems, so I often can't keep my eyes open in the evenings, but this looks like so much fun that I'm going to ignore the household chores and fuse until I drop over a weekend soon. I just have to get the necessary supplies together first.
Talking about supplies: I didn't catch it when they talked about it. Can anybody help? What is the stiff stuff called that Laura used in some of her pieces instead of wadding?
