I recently used it to couch some chenille yarn around the edge of one of my small art pieces. It was very fun! A picture of it can be seen in my blog here....

I found that yarn and some other fun fibers to use with the couching foot at my local craft store. They're called "Adornaments" and they come in groups of coordinated colors -- much cheaper and easier than buying whole things of yarns and trims and such. They were actually with in the scrapbooking section.

Lynn, one of the Bernina videos from the homepage is on the Couching foot. It's a very cool way to stitch down embellishment threads, I think small ribbons or other fibers.

I would love to see Ricky or Alex use the new automatic couching foot Bernina has. It is fun to use it but I need some inspiration for using it with my quilting. If anyone has experience with projects I would love to hear about them. Mickey
