For those who missed the morning send - did you finally get one last night ....? We found out what the problem was and did a second send.

Still no newsletter here, either. Not in regular mail or spam folder and I am subscribed.

I had a problem several months ago where I kept getting unsubscribed and also kept getting my forum flags cleared out so I didn't have any record of what forum messages I had read. Bob the technical guy didn't know what was happening, but it did stop after 3 or 4 rounds. So I think there's a subtle bug somewhere in the system.

Well, it's 10:30 pm Mountain Time (where I live), and the newsletter has still not come through for me—either version. After seeing Rita's note, I checked, but I'm still listed as subscribed to the newsletter. I also checked my spam folder, but it's not there, either. I'll check again in the morning. Maybe the ether is just slow tonight ...

We found that there was a timing problem with the email. We were updating it while the system thought it was sending it. Therefore, more than 1/2 of you did not get the email on the first try. We were not absolutely sure who got it and who didn't, so we resent it to anyone that had not opened it yet. That is why the Oops notice.

Two people have said that they thought it was an ad. We may have to add "Newsletter" to the heading. We were trying to keep it really clean, but "Newsletter" will make it clearer. Or we will add "Newsletter" to the Subject line.

I hope you like the cleaner look.

John, just wanted to let you know the newsletter arrived this evening with a time-stamp of 8:32 pm. It was the second sending of the newsletter because it was preceded by your note saying,
"Oops, We recently switched over to a new email marketing system, and unfortunately there was an error with the system this morning. It is possible that you were sent this email already. If so, we apologize for the inconvenience. The error has since been corrected and this won't happen again."

Very nice, clean format. Well done! :D

I just realized that I had not received a newsletter for a while. When I went into 'My Account' I discovered that I had been unsubscribed because my mail did not accept delivery at some point. Apparently if your mail does not accept delivery then you are automatically unsubscribed. I have resubscribed myself now. Maybe that is what has happened to some of you as well?

I received the newsletter today. It did go to my spam folder first but I found it and added the new newsletter address to my address book. I did think it was an ad at first but it was very easy to read. I like it. I have a desktop computer running Windows7.
