However, the more I look at the quilt, the more I like it, and it's not over yet! I think in the end, you will make the right choices. Heaven knows when you ask for advice on the forum, you get plenty! Go with your gut/heart/.

Lois, don't ask me why but I love your blocks, really

You've got great advice but, here are my 2 cents

while looking at the picture, seems to me that you need a light fabric. On the picture, your fabrics read to me as medium and dark values only. The ligh pink on the floral fabric is the only light I see in the blocks. Perhaps an off white, light cream or ivory, maybe even an extra light pink (kind of like a blushing white- hope this makes sense) for the sashing might work! and use the floral for a border either a narrow or wide border depending how much fabric you still have. Of course the best thing to do is audition and find the fabric that will help all the blocks to "play nice together"

In the end, I'm sure you'll love your quilt but, if you don't, Nancy and I will have to throw a coin to see who keeps it
