I think Alex's new line would be great too, but didn't it say it would be in shops in Feb? That is a bit late. :( Sandi in FL

Margo mentioned paper piecing in her blog from Houston today. For me that's a good thing! I like paper piecing!

You know Lorchen, I was toying with that very thought too! I love what I see so far of Alex's spring line. I think it would be lovely in this quilt.

I bought a very bright pink, yellow, green and orange focus fabric and a bunch of coordinating colors a while ago. I think I may consider these for the BOM. This is really my favorite kind of quilting. I can't wait :D

I am so in for this BOM. The only problem I foresee is deciding on a what colors to use. Decisions Decisions.

Love it, love it, love it!!!

Just one itsy-bitsy problem: Lack of time and lack of speed (oops, that's two - stupid me). But I am soooooo tempted.

All I can say: Susan rocks!!

I have a question for Sue. Did you by any chance design this beautiful quilt on EQ6? And if you did, would that be a file you would be willing share with us? It would make planning out colors soooo much easier if we could play with them in our EQ6.
Thanks,
Tina, who's working on 2008 July BOM, but looking forward to January '09

This was not what I expected at all - wasn't sure if I was going to do another BOM. But after seeing it - WOW! I have to do it. It's stunning! Now to start the fun fabric collecting part of the journey... Oh yeah, and finish the 2008 BOM.

It looks like except for an anchor fabric, it would be a great quilt to use lots of fat quarters etc. I have gathered lots of those for making my DJ which seems to have been bypassed by so many other projects it's buried!

I tend toward warm colors and brights in my other projects. I wonder what would happen if I started thinking in cool blues and whites and yellows?

Oh, this is gonna be fun!

When I heard pieced BOM I was sad. But, WOW, I love it. I also like the fact we can mull it over awhile to think about colors. What fun. Camille
