A stunning quilt and wonderful quilting! I like KF fabrics for some things. Your choices are wonderful here. :)

You mean, "Kentucky Fried Chicken?" That's what I first thought when I saw "KFC" in her posting...

Is anyone but me giggling over that fact that, of course, our dear Wendy likes KFC fabric???

 well a friend was making a KFC quilt which spurred me into loving the pastelly fabrics and drooling over a layer cake she had so I'll let her know. I've made a red and green one in the past for another nieces dog so I'll find a picture of that for you. To be honest it's the paler ones that make me weak at the knees

Ok, ok! I'm a convert now, too. Kaffe Fassett should be sending you 'thank you' notes, Wendy. I am officially impressed thanks to you.

Wendy its fabulous!
I'm a Kaffe Fassett fan too. I cut into a piece purchased a year ago to make the stems on the Libby quilt.

Wendy, thank you for the introduction to Sophie Standing's work--had never seen it before, but amazing what she does with thread and fabric (and feathers and other things... ). Beautiful use of color and her composition transports you right into her work. Amazing! Thank you!!!

Wendy You are making me re-think Kaffe. I have always thought his stuff was too busy but the way you chose to do this quilt really works.
