I always use either Superior Bottom Line, YLI Softouch, or prewound 60 wt. poly!

I always use Superior Bottom Line (Tan) for all my embroidery. Works wonderfully with the AURIfil Cotton Mako 50wt.

When machine embroidering, I generally use a 60wt polyeter thread (Bottom Line is perfect). You want to make sure your tension is set so that your top threads are pulled down under, and you have no bottom thread peaking up to ruin your look!

Would anyone share some advise on what thread is best to use in the bobbin when sewing the embroidery designs. I am intending to use the Aurifil cotton mako 50 weight threads but my usual bobbin thread is a polyester. Would I be better using a cotton thread in the bobbin or would the poyester be better for strength.... I have too many choices and too little knowledge
