Are you ready to start another new day with a new pattern? I hope so – life is great and affords us many opportunities to start fresh and new – and today is a great day to start making a new quilt: Ruffled Roses. Each month, you will find the pattern for part of this quilt online. Just print the instructions, cut, stitch, press… and before you know it, time will have passed, and you will be ready to enjoy your own Ruffled Roses quilt. What a wonderful way to start each month!
I have been working on the BOM all year. I only have the pieces of the swag for December to do and the 4 corner blocks from September left to do. For some reason I cannot get myself motivated to do the September cornerstones. Been thinking of not doing them but not sure of what to replace them with. Then I tell myself that I've done this much I should just finish.
I have finally decided that I will take a break in 2012 and not do the BOM. Instead I'm going to work on Sue Garman's new quilt "Sarah's Revial". I will order the patterns a month at a time and then when I finish 4 blocks, I'll order the next set. This way I will only have a few at a time and if I decide after 12 blocks I"m done I can make a small quilt.
