I'm working with wool and my lattice border was raveling so I am now going to applique the border. See my blog post about my way of doing it. All can be fixed if you just think outside the box.

It looks perfect in the picture but one edge is 3/8" from the seam and the others were bigger. When I trimmed it up so they would all be the same I destroyed any perfection there was there. Being the optimist I am, I went on and tried to attached the lattice and then it was really noticeable. So, I got online and after much searching I found the fabric. It will get here and I will get caught up eventually.

Can we see a picture? Maybe you can use a quilting pattern that will camouflage the crooked lines. But if you're truly not happy with it it's sometimes best to start over instead of liking it less and less as you proceed.

Well, my problem just got bigger. I guess the real problem is I am a perfectionist. I sewed my lattice borders on (they fit) and saw that the lines in my fabric were not straight. It is really obvious and I am not willing to let it go. The fabric I used and really, really liked, I don't have enough of to make the corners over. I haven't, yet, been able to find it online. :x

Joyce and Ritzy, you both had greaat "fix" ideas. I really appreciate it when people post their problems and fixes. Sometimes I just panic and all my creativity goes out the door. You all keep me in the game. Thanks!

Ritzy, what about some piping between the two pieces?
