Welcome Alex, and your quilt looks wonderful!

Maybe if I'd get off my computer and quilt I'd have something to show too! ha

Hello
my name is Alexandra and it`s my first time in an eglish speaking forum.
I hope you will understand me.

I found this Site a few weeks ago and fall in Love with this Qilt.
I ironed on the templates on the background, an stitch arround the pieces with embordery thread.

This allows me to do some more embordery at the block.
My Quilt is going to be verry scrappy with cream - brown - blue
Pleace have a look:

The embordery is only on this area, im still beginning

Have a nice Day

Hmmm. Just dawned on me I don't HAVE to make every square inch of the quilt EXACTLY like Sue and Margo. I can just do a mini and enjoy the ride! Hmmm. Now as to mini-size or the whole quilt in MINI? God, I hate decisions! LOL

Mine will/would all be stash as I have never gone out and bought fabric specifically for a quilt as I recall. My stash is not large but always seems sufficient.

The red stripe is used, the green is not. All 5 of the "dots" fabrics are used.

All three of these small foral prints are used as well as both of the Ombre` fabrics. (The photo of the pink is just a close-up of the pink Ombre)

This picture shows the large print Ecru, which is used for all of the background and the gold and green stripes.
The large green foral print is not used.

Margo,
Would it be possible for you to give us a close up of your fabric choices? I'm trying to use my stach and having all kinds of touble with my fabric choices! I've tried to convert from one chart to the other but a picture of your Beloved Beauties fabrics, like Sue gives in the directions, would be most helpful! I need all the extra help I can get!

Mary, your colors are wonderful!! Sue's quilt design really accepts lots of different color ways. I bet it would be pretty in really soft pastels, too.

Eileen,
Yes, the pink and green fabric is my focus fabric and will probably use it for the setting triangles around the center applique block. Worked on a customer quilt for a while today and am now getting applique pieces ready. It's going to be fun to see this quilt come together. Sue has outdone herself again! :D

Judy, thanks for the nice comments on my fabric choices. I decided to go for a softer palette this time- my 2009 BOM was quite bright.
