In February I finally finished my sis-in-law's snowflake quilt, which was her 2007 Christmas present.
I don't know why I let the quilting of it intimidate me for so long -- the quilt top just sat for most of those three years. When I finally got to quilting it, I enjoyed it so much! (And finished within two weeks.) I'm happy with how the quilting turned out. I also attached a hanging sleeve. And the finishing touch, which I used for the first time, Swarovski crystals! I put those on the sun-printed snowflakes. I love the sparkle they add! I'll probably use them on the peacock quilt that's currently in the works.
