I'm out of the loop a lot too, am so far behind in reading The Forum, but am trying to catch up when I can... just saw Norma's note and, Norma, I wish you well with your mom and hope that all settles into comfort for her and peace of mind for you. Thinking of you!

Best wishes Norma, I hope everything goes ok with your Mother.
It was nice to meet you at NEC...it was a great show made all the better by meeting up with friends.

Sorry that your mother isn't doing well, Norma. It's so good that she has you to help her adjust to the changes in her life and to take care of the things that she can't! It's a very stressful time for you, too, so don't forget to take care of yourself, too. Big hugs from all of us!!

Norma, we'll be sending positive energy your way, knowing how all consuming this time is for you and your mom. I hope you get her settled nicely soon so you can spend some quality time with her, even if it's just holding hands. Peace.

I'm so sorry that I have not been on the Forum since I came home. I don't have time for reading all the new pages now. Just want to tell you I came home to chaos. My mother got an appartment in a nursery home and I had to get everything ready for that. She broke her hip in July and from the hospital she was transferred to a place where they could help her train, but she can't walk now and can't go home to live again. She's 91 and a bit on the dementia side also.
We moved her this Friday and I still have some arrangement to take care of. But I promise I will be back later.
Been there. Done that. Take care of yourself and best wishes to your mother.

Thank you so much for sharing the fun. So glad you had a chance to enjoy each other's company and wonderful quilts too. Love your quilts Lorna and Rita.
