Oh to live so close that it is only a hop skip and a jump and to be able to plan to be there year after year after year. After last years feasco (SANDY) it was hard to even think about making those plans again. Then as it turns out there are a number of family situations on both sides of this big country of ours that could demand my presence at almost any time. I know I will get there someday and maybe more than once. I'd love to plan to go some year my international TQS quilting friends (Lorchen, Chinese Whisper Sisters, Terry from Canada and more) could be there. Another year will be better for me. But to be sure I will enjoy it from afar this year and will be quite grateful for personal reports from all my TQS friends. Thank you in advance. Have your cameras ready and your finger nimble on your keypads to keep us all well informed.
I know I'm beyond blessed to be moving back to Houston. I will take loads of pictures when I begin attending, I promise. How did I not realize you live in the path of Sandy??? I am so sorry.

We are well used to hurricane issues, that's for sure. Some parts of Houston are still recovering from Ike....:sigh:....
