TOPIC: Anyone want to meet at Paducah 2009?

06 Apr 2009 19:20 #34106

I'll be in Paducah....I can't wait to meet some of you every day. :D

And Pam, like you said, I think at this time in my life, I'm more excited about meeting and seeing friends than I am about the shows.

Ann, I think I am more excited at meeting old and new friends, than I am about the quilt show. I am REALLY excited about that too. Lol. Hugs, Pam

Wow Pam you are going to be in Houston How wonderful. I cannot believe that I might be able to connect with two quilters from other countries. You and Brink of Norway at one quilt show. Lets see how many other countries we can get at one show at one time who are all part of TQS. What a thrill. Hugs, Ann

Don't forget to wear your TQS badges for the M&G!!! A pattern can be found on the TQS PROJECTS page.

Hey everybody!! I just got a note from Justin and he said that there will be a Ricky Tims booth in the main hall this year, and that we are welcome to meet there for a brief Meet & Greet! This is not a TQS booth, but they will be selling Ricky's hand dyed fabrics. I promised him that we would not linger long and scare off potential customers!!

So...anyone who is available at 1:00 each day, please meet at the Ricky Tims booth in the main exhibit hall! Hope to see you there!!!
:D

Hi all! Katie(froggyquilter)(I hope) and I will be in Paducah on Wednesday only--a one day drive down and back. We will be staying for the awards ceremony. I would love to meet up with everyone. Hope we can find a time and place that works. Cindy Neville

Alex's website shows that she will be in Asilomar but I'm still checking on Ricky. He will be in Paducah for his concert Friday night, but I'm not sure how long they will be in town. I'll let you know if they are available for a quick meet & greet!

I'll be there! 02 Apr 2009 09:26 #33963

I am going to the show and would love to meet some of the great people whose posts I read daily. I'm taking a class everyday, but only half days so I'm sure I'll have time to meet new friends.

It's getting closer! 02 Apr 2009 08:27 #33961

Yes, I am looking forward to it Dana, just not the drive so much. I don't think TQS has a booth as it sounds like they will be in Chicago, but I could be wrong. Maybe one of you who is more familiar with the layout of the show could come up with a spot we could get together. I am going to the MAQS on Tuesday morning and taking Libby's class on Friday as well as going to the Wednesday evening 25th celebration. Hope to see you all.... Sally
