Dana you're really brazen!! I can imagine I'd get "caught" if I was trying to sneak something, but I DO take my BOM or other hand-work to many meetings (right out there in the open! LOL) I don't think I could listen to one thing and chat at the same time, I'd get confused!

addiction to TQS 01 Sep 2008 20:48 #25311

Ricky has called me a convergence addict and has declared that I run a twelve step program for myself and others. And I am a dyed in the wool, pure to the bone, and totally committed TQS addict and you know what I don't care. When you think about some of the other things I could be addicted to, this one is pretty mild. And where in the world could an addiction add so much fun and so much information and inspiration to your live than here.

SO I AM AN ADDICT AND PROUD OF IT. (And woe be unto the soul who would have nerve to try to do an intervention to stop this addiction. )

I'm addicted, and proud of it! :D I also check in from work, with all the transitions of being short staffed, people leaving and others adapting into new roles this is the best thing to hang on to my sanity! Thank you my freinds for being a part of my support group and helping me get my fix. :)

HA! I actually looked on my computer in the middle of the night to see if anyone else had posted!!

Dana, you are so funny! I'm an addict and proud of it! I check in several times a day to TQS. If I can't, I get terribly irritable! I get real annoyed with people at work when they interrupt my sneak into TQS. It helps the stress level to see what all my TQS friends are doing! I've asked DH for a laptop so that I can keep up when I'm in Houston. Don't think I'll get it but it doesn't hurt to ask! I hate when I get behind on what's going on here.

I know I'm addicted.......and proud to be so just like all of you. A couple of weeks ago, I had to be in a meeting for several hours and so I took my computer. I made sure I sat at the end of the large conference table so nobody could see my screen. The meeting started, and I was clicking along the entire first hour with everybody there thinking I was taking notes....when actually I was in the chat room with "The Three Sisters". .......I had to smile every time I thought about it. Somebody asked me for a copy of my notes after the meeting.....so I came home, wrote some notes, and waalah, a great night was had by all.

This site brings so much joy to my life.

I think I am a full fledged member of the support group now too. It is really hard to miss a day. I need to check in and see how everyone is doing. I love watching the quilt gallery grow too. So many more inspiring quilts to drool over! Sandi in FL

LOL!!!!! :D :D Me too!! I guess that I won't start worrying until I can no longer maintain relationships when a computer is not involved!!!! Thank goodness we all found each other in cyber space! This community is such a great addition to my life!!! Mary Kay

Well, I also am addicted! This is cheaper than therapy, believe I know I work for a psychologist and this is much better. I was just telling my mom how much I love fabric and she said I get from several generations and I can't help myself. YIPPEE!!

So lets enjoy our addiction!

This made me laugh out loud. I haven't dreamt of the people on TQS but I think that I am addicted also. I find it difficult to miss a day.
