I don't know how I missed this thread, but I'm glad I found it now. Lorchen, the pictures are great and you are all looking beautiful. I also have a son named Andy. He is a character too. Must go with the name.

I am waiting to see the picture of your Andy in the hat. I am so happy you had a beautiful day for the wedding. Congratulations to the bride and groom and give your granddaughter a big hug from me.

A beautiful scarf in colours which go very well with a new bag I made recently, a pack of Thornton's special toffee chocolate (yummy!), a tissue case in one of my favourite Tilda fabrics and a beautiful card which is now brightening the shelf in front of my sewing machine. Thank you soooo much everybody for your comments. I'm still running around with a silly grin on my face.

Ritzy, Rosemary is right (she always is). That fascinator is on a round 'thingy' that you stick on your head. I have very straight and fine hair. Hairgrips or combs won't stay in, but this thing does - even in the wind. You can see how it works on the picture. A lot of fascinators don't have that 'flying saucer' base, and are just an assortment of fancy ribbons, feathers, and other bits. I really like this one because it's a lot more like a hat, but not as large and 'heavy'.
