Mmmmhhhh...... I don't know if I can do that, Margo. The workshop is on Friday. I'll take my camera, but my laptop hasn't got the right software on it, so I can only download any pictures when I'm back home sometime next Monday. Pia Welsch has promised to cure me of my FMQ-Phobia....... That won't be an easy job.

Well, Pippa, this is the first time since that "Wee Hick-Up" that I have risked handing over one of my quilts. I took it to York with less than 2 hours to spare till the deadline (and I wasn't the last). This piece nearly didn't make it either, but for different reasons. Life just kept interfering with my plans lately. So I'm expecting the judges to comment: "Could do with more quilting". I simply ran out of time.
Pippa, I'll try and cruise by the BQSG table on Saturday or Sunday.
Teresita, I bet you have had a lovely time with Alicia.
Anybody doing any workshops? I have opted for a couple of German ladies (Regine Grewe and Pia Welsch) because I normally don't get to see them (the curse of being stuck with school holidays for any travelling).

I'll be at FOQ for all four days - I'll be at the BQSG table (Quilt study group table) on Saturday and Sunday. I have sent in two quilts this year. My wholecloth sawtooth quilt and the New Zealand Bell Quilt. Just checked the tracking and they did arrive, Lorchen!! phew. I am staying at St Johns Hotel in Solihull with the Quilters Haven lot.
I'm really glad, Teresita, that you saw Pam's message. I look forward to meet you. In the meantime, have a super time, and give my best wishes to Alicia. I'm sure, from what you said before, that you are going to make a beeline for her.

Hi, I have a class on Sunday at 1:30, but will be at the Quilters Guild stand at 1pm at least for a few minutes so that I can meet you all.
I'm already in Birmingham and will be taking quite a lot of classes in the next few days, but I would love to see any of you who happens to be around before Sunday.

Woops, I have just sent you an email Lorna and then logged on and found your post. I will send you another email with my mobile number.
If anyone else is planning to be there on the Sunday we will meet just inside the entrance to the hall by the Quilters Guild of Great Britain stand at !pm. I will try and remember to wear my TQS badge.
