Susan, the link I listed above gives a recipe for making your own spray glue. Mix Elmer's School Glue with water in a 1:1 ratio, and add a drop or two of liquid dish detergent. Pour into a spray bottle and you're good to go. Since you know what's in it, it seems like there should be no worries about being able to wash it out.

gmhowl OFFLINE Posts: 190	While shopping yesterday, I happened to be in the school and office supplies and saw that Elmer's now has a "spray glue" that is temporary and washable. Good idea for using on machine embroidery to temporarily hold fabric in place. Haven't tried it yet but might be less expensive then the "505" spray adhesive.

suehenyon OFFLINE Posts: 1796 Thank you received: 51	A potential problem is if you get a glop of glue instead of a bit, the needle may deflect off the hardened glue. I know that when I go over-board with the glue on bindings, stitching gets difficult.
