I use metal/plastic rollers used on carbon paper to mark darts in garment construction to remove paper pieced paper. Firmly roll over the stitching on the paper, paper easily lifts off. I use surgical tweezers to remove the stubborn pieces.

Okay have just found out that they can post the light to me but you will have to open the machine up and the light needs to be soldered on.................gee guess whose husband can do that...........

He also very helpfully said that he has no idea how I could have broken the light as it’s not that easy to do and what was I doing.........I was very polite and explained HOW I DID IT and then he said well you need to be more careful and look after your machine........this is to a person who had a 35 year old Bernina with one tiny scratch on it.........I remained very polite.........then hung up and took it out on my husband OF COURSE......... |

Jilly, Please excuse me as I chuckle at your mishap...I, too, hope you are properly "lit up" now.
