WOO-HOO! the last two lizards have made it to Lotti before she goes back to Switzerland! I sent them Express Post, because the chance to see her before I leave for London (Ontario) and she leaves for home is almost non-existent.

Her`s a tidbit copied from her email! The picture is hers. I`d say we`ve gotten what we wanted. Good job, everyone!!! :silly: :) :cheer: :) Quilters have power!!

I quite like being a ghost (on lois' Muggie) but yes, I really much rather be a real part of the group - I am coming back - definitely!

Thanks for the pictures. I really like what you have done with the cross stitch pieces into the bag. Glad to hear that the extended family is getting on harmoniously.

Would just like to say everyone else has said what I think too...enjoy your new life. So glad the "meeting" went so well. And thoroughly enjoyed seeing your small projects. I've arrived at the same thought--need some little creative things to help get finished with the bigger ones. So good to see you back on the forum.

Norma, Your work is wonderful. I have been doing many little project too. I need the immediate gratification while I plugged away at a more time consuming project. I found I work better with planned distractions. Thanks for the pictures.

Thank you all for all the good wishes. It's a bit overwhelming with all those wonderful comments.
I can report that the ex-wife and I bonded very quickly. It was great to get to know her. We ended up hugging each other.
And my boyfriend was very happy. He has a hard time understanding that this is possible. I told him this morning that my understanding is that if you really follow your heart, the world around you will fall in place in new good ways.

As for what I have been working on lately, I can tell you that my projects have diminished in size such as small pouches, purses, bags and a quilt for my DIL backed with fleece. My grandson helped her unpack her birthday gift.
One quilt size 31.5" square, Vintersol (Winter Sun) is finished. The inspiration came before we went to Norway, my boyfriend loves to go skiing, I stayed at the cottage sewing some crossstitches by hand, later it was inset in a little purse. The other side of the purse has the bird which I made years ago. It has been waiting for a project to go with.

This must be enough eye candy for today
