Okay, so I am a day late and a dollar short but this is what I have so far. This is my second attempt at a Libby Lehman challenge quilt. The first one died when I managed to melt my perfect satin stitching around an appliquéd circle with the iron. I still have to quilt this one but as that will probably take me the rest of the month I thought I would show and tell now. :cheer:

As you can see I have gone for a much less original approach than Nancy, Wendy or Barb, but all the same I do like it and have really enjoyed making it. I will post a photo when I get it quilted too.
During the past few months I have watched and re-watched all the classes with Libby Lehman and I really have to say that I love her teaching style and her sense of humour but most of all I really love her beautiful and original quilts. Thanks to TQS for making her DVD available to us.

Congratulations :woohoo: I understand it's good stuff. Bi must have a look at the March entries. I drew out designs but never got round to sewing it up. I love the graded colours of this one.

Renata her quilts are wonderful I shall watch out for it but there are some videos on her blog as well :)

Nancy have you seen this months FMQ with Christine Cameli. Her work looks exciting. Has anyone done her Craftsy class?

I looked at the description, so I'm musing over what my pillow will look like this month. I have her Craftsy class and watched it when it first came out, but will have to rewatch it. I glanced back at the materials and she has a good variety of nice quilting designs. She divides them into categories like Leah Day does, so you can learn the algorithm for the category and then play around with variations. I think that's a nice approach for learning how to execute the designs and how to find your own variations.

I got lucky and my name was drawn for one of the prizes last month. I'll be getting an assortment of Udderly Smooth products. Woo hoo!

I have not signed up for the Christine Cameli class but saw the advertising and it looked interesting. However, on a blog I read recently, there's supposed to be a Craftsy FMQ class by Debby Brown that will come out soon that looks equally interesting. If you google her name and add quilter, there's quite a bit out there about her.

Nancy, what a wonderful tribute to Libby--the design is so original and different from what you'd imagine Libby doing, so it is truly yours, yet the techniques show off beautifully what Libby Lehman has shared with so many. Your quilting of the water is wonderful as well as your use of threads.

Wendy, I really love the colors your juxtaposed in the background and especially the colors of the ribbon play--there's movement and playfulness.

Barb, so glad you jumped in because yours is so whimsical and joyful.

All are true eye candy!!! I totally enjoyed each one!

Rita, I am with you. I am not done either and fully intend to do a project. Just didn't plan my time as well as I should have. It will be a small project but I want to try to some of her methods.

Nancy, Your quilt is amazing. I love it. And Wendy, I love your ribbons. Barb, Your pieced background is perfect for the stylized flowers. Nice work, ladies.

Nancy brought her quilt to the TQS taping last Saturday to show me and it is even better in person. Love it!
