I have some to post both in the Forum and in Show & Tell. It will happen. I promise.

Same here. I'm going to double-check my pile to make sure all are in the Show and Tell. If you sent one to me and I haven't acknowledged, please remind me. I don't think I'm in that situation, but might be.

PS, I do know I owe a couple, but I have not lost track of those!

Nope--there are some who have not posted. I have some who have not acknowledged receiving theirs but I know they have so I think we will always have some that are not posted.

Heather all of your mug rugs are fantastic - what a great collection you now have. Congratulations everybody on such beautiful and unique creations. 277 muggies, that's amazing. I hope everybody has posted their mug rugs in show and tell? :D

That's what is so nice about this swap...no deadlines, strict guidelines, coloring "outside the box" is most welcome.

What lovely mug rugs from everyone. I feel your joy.
Some day I will get to making you one, but life is a bit crazy here too, so I must do other things first

Norma, absolutely no rush whatsoever!! Believe me, I understand "life is crazy" and, well, I procrastinated (ahem), "just a bit...." (ahem), on mine as well :) Not procrastinated.....had to set aside until life was less crazy. Quite legitimate, and I know the same is true for you.

It will be quite the treat, whenever it arrives :)

Heather, those are Carolina Lily blocks but without the stem. Glad you liked them. Y seams are not nearly so bad if you remember the 1/4" rule and try Gyleen Fitzgerald's "butterfly" technique. It's so wonderful to see all the mug rugs from everyone...makes me want to go make something !!

ah, thank you! I knew they weren't sunflowers, but the yellow kept saying that even though the shape was wrong, LOL! And then I thought daffodils, but I just do not know flowers well. They are so lovely though! Thank you!!

I have not tried Y seams since I first started, when I was doing everything by hand. On that block I ended up making the piece that needed the Y seams and then appliqued it to the background instead.

I think I could probably manage it now, if I tried, but I have thus far instead managed to come up with ways to sew things that mean I do not have to deal with them. I think I have Post-Traumatic Y-Seam Disorder, LOL!
