That's very kind of you Terrie - I am not sure my kids would agree! My son is easy to teach because he is willing to learn. My daughter is another kettle of fish entirely. Do you remember being 18 and knowing it all? I sure do.

I still know it all!

Well, I DO remember getting married at 18 and that didn't last too long. Then, when my kids were 18-20 they knew everything. Now they have kids and are asking me a few questions (guardedly..), so I guess it depends on their age, and temperament. :)

My goal is to send one out and have someone report, "Now this is a Mug Rug. It would do well with a few coffee stains." I think I can make it happen.

I think you have fallen well short of the goal, Lois. You will have to work harder! So far you've only been able to produce beautiful works of art. I'm not sure you're capable of creating something needing a coffee stain or two.

Nancy

Just wait!

Rita, you're not only very talented music-wise and art-wise, but you're a good mom too. True!

You just need to not fill your cup up to the top (how many times have I said that to my kids! ) -and put a paper napkin underneath. :D

(NOT!!)
(NOT!!) is right! But if you really want to use your mug rug and worry about stains, nothing that a little Scotchgard won't help! :D

Well Lois, I'm not a coffee drinker but I love tea, although for the time been and due to chemo I can't stand to drink anything even barely warm, leave alone hot. I didn't use to like cold drinks or water with ice and I can't get enough of it. Anyways I just want you to know that as soon as I'm back to "normal" I'll be using my mug rug and probably will get a few tea stains in it, which I think will just enhance it's beauty. :D
