Thank you very much, Norma. It's great to see all the mug rugs in one place. And in Word too...wonderful idea. I'm sure Margo is very pleased with her little helper.

And, Happy Mother's Day to all moms out there :D

Connie, it's not possible to sign up for the Jane Dunnewold class anymore - it says 'enrolled' when you go onto it on Craftsy. It was a great class wasn't it? I learned so much from her, and she was great too, I really liked her. If she ever comes to Ireland I will be first in the queue for a class.

I'm confused. Doesn't it say "enrolled" just because you are enrolled in it? Others can still sign up because it's available forever. Or maybe you're talking about something else...

As I'm Margo's little helper, I thought I'd better make this for you:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/4117199/Mug_Rugs_page_1-55.docx

I made it in OneNote and copied to Word, so it consists of screenshots. Someone else have to count how many Mug Rugs we have published

The story will continue as more are published

"Single malt carpet"?! My, how our mug rugs have grown up! Lorchen, you've made me think that a strawberry daiquiri would look wonderful on one of mine (we're at the peak of strawberry season in North Carolina)! :D

Lorchen, Renata and Norma, your latest creations are stunning! Has anyone kept track of how many the group has produced so far? It feels like the numbers have really taken off recently...

If anyone is interested in dyeing, you might enjoy the Craftsy class by Jane Dunnewald.

Lorchen,
What a beautiful piece of applique and stitching by Renata!! Lucky Lorchen. And, Lorchen, both of your dragons are wonderful and I'm sure they'll bring good things to Limbania. Well done all around :D :D :D

Big apologies to Renata. I have been so busy in school, and then exhausted when getting home, that it's taken me a few days to share with everyone the first ever ......... drum roll ........ Single Malt Carpet!! In case you wonder, the amber liquid is an Oban Single Malt, Distiller's Special Edition. :)

It's drop-dead gorgeous, and it's all mine (the mug rug.... and single malt isn't bad either)!
And seeing that posh magazines always show a picture of a quilt 'in situ', and then a 'flat shot', here it is again. I hope you have all covered up your keyboards, because this baby is mega-drool-worthy!! :)

Renata, you rock!! Or should that be 'you blink'? :)

I blame Limbania for not having been able to start on the mug rugs yet. :D

Here is the story: Because I was born in the year of the dragon, I stitched a little dragon for myself a couple of years ago, and turned him into a small wallhanging. Here he is:

When I found out that Limbania is also a dragon, I stop all other projects, got the old pattern out and made another one, but in a different colourway. That's the green one I sent to Limbania.

Dragons are very strong and very lucky, so I hope this one will give Limbania a little extra strength.
