Sue - wonderful looking quilt, great fun!

Took Izzy to her sewing club this morning and the craft shop over the road was having a sale of fq's for £1.50! - Oh hold me back! (said best in a scots accent) - Izzy failed miserably

I was able to stock up on sky blues and hope to get a production line going for white horses (& 2 giants

). When I got home I found this little critter sitting on my doorstep

If you double click the label, you'll see tiny white dots of thread from the bobbin in the red script. No amount of Pitt pens ink fixed it. I just re-digitized for a curvy border, centered, so will fill bobbins with red thread. This time, I won't cut the threads off the corners and have to re-sew. I used the label technique from the Bernina video. There is a bit of time left, so think I really need to use it to rise to the level of my incompetence

After all, there are a few prizes to be had

Right now, it's like the night before the lottery drawing..."Well, SomeonE has to win!"

There is an Artist's Statement to write and then it's off to UPS. I have learned a whole lot on this journey and thank Betty Jo for being my sounding board.

I still want to know how Sue Nichols gets absolutely no fuzzies on her raw-edged applique. I do pretty good with batiks, but wovens are tough.

I've got blabber-fingers tonight. Talk to ya'll tomorrow.
