Great mug rugs from everyone. Again you all are such an inspiration for what I do. I have so many new people working for me that I decided to decided to make mug rugs for the new folks that didn't get one last year. I have the tops done now on the 22 mug rugs. Hopefully this weekend I will get them layered and quilted. The way I did it last year was to put right sides together and sew and then turn and top stitch around the edge and then quilt. that way NO BINDING!
Then I'll make ornaments for those that got mug rugs last year.

The wavy border was cut with a wavy Olfa rotary blade on pre-fused fabric. I'd like to take credit for the design, but it belongs to thepatchsmith.blogspot.co.uk/
who sells through Craftsy. She has great mug rug patterns with uncomplicated designs. This snowman is from two patterns combined.
