Jane that is such a pretty mug rug you made for Renata. Such beautiful stitching and a fabulous fish. I agree with Renata, the thread is so beautiful.

Nancy that is a beautiful mug rug you got from Renata. The stitching is so perfect Renata and the blossom so pretty. Did you do double blanket stitch?

Nancy I had to laugh when I saw the picture of the mug rug I sent you because I just realized that I forgot to do the embroidered tendrils in the centre of the pink/purple flower.

I've been very remiss, but am now getting back with the program. I received this lovely mug rug from Renata back in April while I was still nursing my mother. Needless to say, it really brightened my day! It was the height of cherry blossom season in DC, so Renata shared a bloom with me:

golfjane OFFLINE Posts: 335 Thank you received: 10	Renata, Thread is Robison-Anton #2586, 14kt Gold is the name. The pattern is from a friend who designs & sells quilt greeting card patterns (KLM Trade Company). I did enlarge the fish and changed it from blue to gold .
