I blame Wendy for this:

Q: Which day of the week do chickens hate most?
A: Fry-day!

Q: Why did the chick disappoint his mother?
A: He wasn't what he was cracked up to be!

Q: Is chicken soup good for your health?
A: Not if you're the chicken!

Q: What did one chicken say to the other after they walked through poison ivy?
A: "You scratch my beak and I'll scratch yours!"

Q: Why did the chicken cross the road, roll in the mud and cross the road again?
A: Because he was a dirty double-crosser!

Q: Why did the chicken cross the road halfway?
A: She wanted to lay it on the line.

Q: Why did the rubber chicken cross the road?
A: She wanted to stretch her legs.

Q: Why did the Roman chicken cross?
A: She was afraid someone would caesar!

Q: Why did the chicken cross the road twice?
A: Because it was a double-crosser

A farmer with lots of chickens posted the following sign:
"Free Chickens. Our Coop Runneth Over."

Ritzy, Jack says that it's alright. He doesn't mind to be 'one of the girls'. :)

I just took another look at Lorchen MR and saw one of those is a rooster. Hope he isn't too offended that I called him a girl. ;)

There are sexy eggs? Does that have anything to do with plaid boxers? Just wondering . . .

Of course we missed you Rosemary!
Wendy love the "girls" nattering!
Great job ladies.
Rita--I am almost afraid to say that I have not heard the one about the sexy egg.

Love the chickens and the chicken joke Wendy. Great mug rug, yet again. (Have you heard the one about the sexy egg?)

Charae that is a lovely mug rug you made for Lorchen too. And Lorchen, that glass looks perfect on that mug rug. :D

Charae is trying to convert me from Single Malt to Wine. Not a problem. I even have a suitable glass (Swedish!) for that lovely 'boozy' mug rug, and there is a bottle of Chateauneuf du Pape in the cupboard. The mug rug even came little decorative rings to put around the stems of your glasses, so that you always know which one is yours when the party is in full swing. Thank you very much, Charae. I'll treasure and use it!

These drop-dead-gorgeous chatty chickens have been living with me for a couple of weeks already, but I have been too busy to sort out pictures. So here they are: Jack and Jill - still squaking! :)

Thank you so very much, Wendy!
