You can download the patterns on disc, but. like Ritzi said, there is just something about having the original 80+ year old piece of paper that someone took the time to clip and save for me! The other nice thing is that some of these have come with the cardboard templates or cut pieces of fabric. Some have had notes written on them either to another quilter or about the type of fabrics the quilter is contemplating using. I just find it fascinating. If any of you come across the originals from the 50s or 60s let me know so I can try to pick them up!

loise98 OFFLINE Posts: 2932 Thank you received: 267	I just googled Kansas City Star Quilts and learned that you can download the patterns for a fee of $20. You can download an updated pattern with rotary cutter instructions 1/week for a year. Right now I don't need any more ideas to keep me busy.

I tried to purchase one but it was in the early days of the internet and paypal had not happened so it wasn't possible, so I gave up. Anybody know about that?
