Ok everyone. I have a confession to make.... I'm addicted to fabric.

Nancy, the "wall" was in quotation marks because I don't have one... even Chinese Whispers I did without a design wall and used my cutting table (which is three old Japanese tea chests with a piece of plywood on top and my cutting mat on top of that... embarrassing but true... ). Lack of wall space has been the problem, more so than making the design wall, which I know I can do.

So, as soon as I can get a makeshift design wall put up, I will be happy to photo and post and would look forward to any comments for rearranging the blocks. :D

Will you take pictures of it on the design wall? I think it's going to be gorgeous and can't wait to see it!!

:D Thanks, Nancy, you put a smile on my face! Today I finished putting together all the blocks for Holiday Lights, tomorrow I'll connect the trees to the trunks and then it can all go up on the "wall" to see how the colors will play out. Your vote of confidence means a lot to me!

Beautiful job, Renata! Your FMQ continues to get better and better! And, even if you don't believe it, your color sense is incredible!

here is the mug rug I received from Renata

The fabrics are just beautiful - they have a slight metallic sheen which doesn't really show up in the photo but it's gorgeous. And the free motion quilting with a variegated thread is just perfect - I love it. I think I need to go out and buy a very classy mug to put on it as it's so elegant.....or maybe a beautiful crystal glass....with a fine single malt whisky in it

I've just finished quilting my latest project, all I have to do is sew on the binding today then the machine will be clear to do my next lot of mug rugs. It's been too long - can't wait!

Lorchen, Faye is beautiful! Did someone say we have an official Lizardette club?
