I know Nancy, it is exciting and more so for me this year as I am actively involved in a group. Your quilt is in the country and Lorna will get it to me when she can, but, it is in the UK. The only one still outstanding is Marilyn's which Limbania has said she will be sending this week. I have faith in the others to get the quilts back in plenty of time. :D :D :D or else
Or else the drinks are on them....to come gift wrapped in a fq or 2

Oh Maureen, mine would be going up with the thought of all those quilts heading towards me and the labels etc., to get on the right ones. That's before the ones from the other groups arrive. When are they getting to you and will they all be ready for your group to hang?

Lorna I've emailed you the hotel I've booked. Shall I email you the picture of my quilt in stages like one piece of fabric at a time

Naughty, naughty, naughty

I haven't got Rita's yet but my head is buzzing.

If the labels arrive for me to sew on it must mean there is a very good chance I have the quilts so that doesn't bother me. Most people have their name on the quilts so it will be easy to see what label goes where. It doesn't bother me Wendy about the other groups yet, that is just something that happens every year. All the quilts have to be in for a certain time. The judging starts for the competition the Friday before the show, then the setting up of the quilts starts on the Sunday afternoon and continues Monday and Tuesday all day. I organise the volunteers for that as well as the stewards (white glove ladies) that are at all the venues. Maybe some of you that are coming to the show would like to give me a morning or afternoon stewarding? Sorry couldn't resist that as I ask everyone. They can only say no.

There are also events for the Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings where we can all meet. If you want to know what they are, just email me.

That's great Maureen - a day quicker than I thought it would be. I think, however, that I will be buying you a drink instead. :D

It is a draw :D :D :D :D Both quilts from Rita and Rosemary (Rosemary's and Lois's) have arrived at my house lunch time today. Well done both of you. As you both are winners of the race, remind me to buy you a drink when you are at the show. :) :) My daughter will pick them up after work tonight, unpack them and lay them out flat with white sheets inbetween each one. That makes 5 I have in my (Kim's) possession. I know Renata has posted Nancy's and it is in the UK. Thank you all who have sent the quilts to me so far.

I am glad you were able to pick up Nancy's quilt Lorna. Wednesday or Thursday is fine with me. At least I know it is in the country. :D :D :D

The inspiration quilts will be coming fast and furious now, Rita and Rosemary have posted theirs, Limbania said she was posting her one to you this week and you will be sending the one from Renata. We are definitely getting closer to the finishing line. My blood pressure will start coming down soon

I now have the quilt that Renata mailed to me! I forget whose quilt it is. She mailed it on the 8th and I think it arrived on Friday the 15th. I just had not made it to the post office until today to pick it up. So looks like our mail service is back on line and functioning well. Priority mail helps tremendously.

Maureen, it won't be until Wednesday or Thursday that I can get it into the mail to you. (I can also mail Rosemary a book that I've had for way too long. )

I need to get my hotel reservation made for Scotland next year! I am getting so excited. I'll try to make it through the Saturday. I can then bring back any quilts that need to be mailed back to the states. (For the few people that couldn't make it to Loch Lomond! )

Rita has let me know that she will be picking up her quilt after the show in May. This will save her postage. :) :) I just want to remind you to go to page one and look at the pieceI have highlighted in red in the rules about returning the quilts.
