I don't usually check this thread because it seems kind of exclusive, but I'm glad I did or else we'd miss Lois's great Communion Table Cloth (awesome!) and Nancy's wonderful bags. I just love custom made bags! Nice job, both of you!

Lovely bags, Nancy. You picked some wonderful fabrics for them and as usual your quilting is just stunning.

I love the bags Nancy. How thoughtful of you to pick a fabric to go with your niece’s job and your other niece will love the Faffe Fasset fabrics. Your sister will be so thrilled to get the 'professional' bag. Your quilting as usual is awesome.

Hi Renata -

Just have the one quilt to wash and photograph and the other quilt to finish quilting, then I'll be done for Christmas. I plan to leave on Sunday next week, so have to be finished and wrapped before then. Looks like I'm just going to make it!

Nancy, thanks for the photos, great bags--so glad you have gotten so much done--still much to go? I wish I could see the looks on their faces when they receive these wonderful gifts; you are really impressive in your ability to make so many beautiful things! Hope you get a rest after the holidays! :D

Finally, a bag for my sister using the "Professional" pattern. She really liked the one I made for myself several years ago so I made one of her own. This one also uses Kaffe Fassett fabrics.

I've finished one of the quilts so I just need to wash it and then take pictures. The other quilt still needs some more quilting. I'll post when I have pictures.

And I made this one for a niece who is still in high school. It's the same pattern, but I decided that the straps needed to be a little bit longer. This one uses all Kaffe Fassett and Phillip Jacobs fabrics. The color is off a bit in these pictures. The ultrasuede on the bottom is actually purple, as it appears in the last picture.

Hi all -

I finally got pictures of the bags I made for Christmas uploaded so I thought I'd share what I've been doing.

First is a bag for my niece who is a nurse. This is from a pattern from a Craftsy class (Quilt-As-You-Go Patchwork Bags by Tara Rebman). I used a bunch of different fill patterns on the different patches. It took a long time to do all of that dense quilting, but it was fun and was a good place to try new things.

Hi Terrie!

Celtic Solstice is a Bonnie Hunter mystery quilt, not a TQS item. You can find instructions on her blog at http://quiltville.blogspot.com/p/celtic-solstice-mystery.html. Today the third set of instructions came out and it goes on for about six (?) weeks or so. Just like TQS BOM, though, you can download all the instructions and make the quilt anytime you want. However, the instructions will disappear in June 2014. None of us know what the quilt will look like--every week a different clue (set of blocks to make) comes along. It's been a lot of fun to do--lots of work because of compressed time but I've talked to lots of folks who have really enjoyed doing her mystery quilts. This is my first one--I'm sure someone on the forum has done them before and can say more about it.

Hi ladies - I'm sorry but I'm a bit lost here.

Where is this winter solstice quilt a few of you a are posting pics about? I like the bits I've seen so far....Sounds like it might be a mystery quilt - how do I find it?
