Lois, I've found out that for some reason e-mail not always keep me up to date on the forum. I usually click "View new posts" or "View your posts" links on the second row at the top of the screen.

Now we're talking! That could've been a good name "Crazy Whispers"   No, I'm not suggesting to change it  I think we have a great name but, the last few posts made me think of it

I can't believe all the chattering that's been going on and I've missed it. I rely on email reminders that something has been added to a thread. I have been getting other reminders but none for this thread. Now you will all begin to believe I am not as excited as the rest of you about this challange. I have never in my entire life done anything like this challenge. I am eager but you know what they say about "fools rushing in where....." I will do my very best to finish before my time alotment is up. I promised myself this summer that I was going to stay home more next summer than this year so this fits right in with my plans. As for a trip to Scotland in 2014, the thought crossed my mind but I all I can say is that I will continue to think about it. I will have to see if I could fit it into my budget. Sounds like lots of fun and I would certainly like to meet all of you. Sorry to have been late to the chatter.

I don't think any of us would do it. In fact I think the e-mail should be sent out the day the quilt gets on the mail. It'll have to be a photo of the finished quilt.

I think it's kinda fun that we all played a game like this when we we kids...far flung as we are !! 8)
A bit of a head start would be nice...but I do think seeing a quilt in person, so to speak, would be
a big help to me ! Of course, there is some risk and expense involved with mailing them around .
I see this as just the cost of playing the game .

E-mailing a photo and description of the quilt will be just to get an idea of what we're getting while the actual quilt arrives. It won't substitute the quilt been mailed, but will give some time for thought while in transit.
