As fast and as good as Rita is at making things, that would be a small price to pay and we'd all enjoy it. Good idea, Terrie. Rita, I'll be happy to serve you at the pool! :D

Well, Rita you can just sit by the pool and relax and let everyone serve you. But for that kind of service you can make all the place mats and napkins. Or table clothes. before you get there. Then I'd be glad to serve you with a smile!

The same way as now - wacking it with a stick, repeatedly! In some respects a a clay pot could be esaier to break than a cardboard pinata, because the clay is far more brittle, whereas cardboard flexes with the strikes, and they really take some serious wacks without showing any damage

Mexican cuisine it is, and what a feast, Limbania! Who could say 'no' to almond flan? :D Can I bring some limoncello?

Thanks for the reminder, Limbania, of how piñatas used to be made... I had totally forgotten  but haven't forgotten how much fun they are... Rosemary, the kids are going to have a blast at the birthday party and your piñata will certainly be a thrill! :D

Definitely the Mexican food for me please Limbania. I'll just sit at the patio by the pool and I am sure one of the others will serve the food. You come sit and chat with me. :D

What a ride! 8) 8) 8) Should've got over there and flight back with you all    Save some red wine, chianti per favore! I'd love some chocolate too and whatever else left over.

Got the Mariachis (Mexican music) ready to welcome you all. The patio by the pool is set up with a Mexican style buffet. Tacos, tamales, fajitas, mole and pozole. Tequila any one? How about chocolate or almond flan for desert? Not in the mood for Mexican? Hamburgers, hotdogs, BBQ ribs, pizza, cheese cake. Watching the girly figure? vegetable salad and fruit are available. We can take special orders too :D

Those are great piñatas Rosemary. Nowadays in Mexico are making them like you do but, the traditional piñata is made with a pot like made out of clay (see photo bellow), covered with newspaper and a thick paste made from cornstarch and water (cooked) and then decorated with colorful tissue paper.

Any red left? I got some cheese - a nice bit of wensleydale, with and without fruit or ginger in it.
