Limbania, that was wonderful. There is nothing like a bit of spontaneous music to bring a smile to everybody's face. A lovely wake-up resent, thank you.

You are correct. I live in Colorado, but have family in Kansas City, KS. In fact, I'm my Mom's only chick who left the nest -- everybody else lives within 10 miles of her. I had to come home unexpectedly because my mom is ill, but I brought my sewing machine and all of my supplies and am working when I can. I really like how it's coming along, but will have to leave you hanging until next year.....

Nancy

You are going to "leave you (who) hanging until next year...." Is that about the Mug Rug exchange? I won't be hanging even if you never get to it. You do what your family needs you to do. Isn't it crazy how emergencies seem to go with getting a turn with the Whisper Quilt. No matter what, we know your family comes first. Wishing your mother well and sending prayers. Keep us posted.

Sorry, Lois. I meant that nobody but Renata and Maureen would be able to see the quilt I'm making until next year, at the show. I plan to get to the first of my mug rugs this summer, so you shouldn't have to wait that long!

Nancy I know it's out of character for me to say this but take your time with the quilt. I find I need loads of thinking and pondering time when creating and the actual making gets done in quick bursts.

Hope things get better with your mum.

Hope your mom recovers soon with you there--having all her chicks near has got to be better than chicken soup! Sending good wishes for both your mom and you as you make progress on Chinese Whispers...
