Definitely time for something else now. If I didn't live on a small island so far away from everybody else I would suggest another exchange - like a hexagon flower exchange seeing as everybody is into hexies at the moment. Wendy, I am curious to know what was going through your collective minds.

When we were away Lorna, Rosemary and I had some ideas for challenges, we'd really enjoyed the past couple of years. Depends if anyone's interested.

I had to look up the answer to your question about birches and aspens. No, they are not the same tree.

"Birch trees and aspen trees both feature white bark and medium green leaves, but, upon a closer look, these trees are very different. One of the main differences between the two types of trees are the leaves. Also, birch trees are stronger trees than aspens, and are capable of withstanding drier conditions."
