My fabric is all washed and starched. Have an hour now until my boy finishes work, so the plan is to cut the strips and sew sew sew tomorrow. Getting these into the mail to go across the ocean on Monday! My claim to fame for this exchange, it is the first time I have managed to do something like this from my stash! Wooohooo!!

Now I hope I can sew straight.. thanks for all the tips from those who are far ahead of me!

Yahoo I am number 40c! I haven't chosen a delicacy yet, but have a few in mind. . . how does strawberry shortcake sound? I really should be working on my dissertation, but this is soooooo much more fun. I am going to pick fabrics later today after I sleep for a while.

Holy Cow, Thats a "LOT" of HST! WOW who had to do the sorting and dividing them up? What a job that must have been!

I just saw, on the news tonight, the stamp rate is going up on the 22nd also. Don't know about flat rate shipping.
Now to find out if I made group "C"? In the meantime, back to selecting fabrics. :shock:

"When you checked with the post office on rates did they give you what the rates would be after the postal rate increase? I know that the cost of letters is increasing on Jan 22 but I don't know if the cost to send packages is. I just don't want you to be shorted anything if the cost is going up.

I will be absolutely delighted with whatever I get back and couldn't be happier to be part of this exchange.

20c here from Suffolk in UK..... My first exchange - so treat me gently.. I work in a QS and we are incredibly busy at the moment, so I am slow getting off the starting block.. but my colours are coming together and I have a day set aside next week to get them sewn..
Rosemary if the wheel falls off when you are ready to put your sorting hat on.... I have a son living near you so could offer some help if you needed it.

It's not that easy folks. At least half the folks in Group a ARE in group b because of the doubles. I believe in the Batik Exchange we did get one of each back, including one of our own.
